Wildfire Safety & Prevention Event-May 7th Scavenger Hunt Going on Now!
Please join us at Pinebrook Park Saturday May 7, 2022 from 10 am to 1 pm. We will be sharing information to help prepare Pinebrook residents for wildfire season while fostering a more resilient, connected, and educated community.
Sponsored by the Pinebrook Fire Safety Committee featuring community experts from the Park City Fire District and Summit County.
Information tables and short presentations on various topics including:
- Defensible Space – How can the Park City Fire Department help?
- Emergency Notification Systems – How do they work and are you registered?
- Planning for Evacuations – Are you familiar with Pinebrook’s two-page evacuation planning document?
- Parleys Canyon Fire – What are our lessons learned?
- Community Engagement – Learn about the Fire Safety Committee and how to get involved.
- Weed Issues – What we all should want to know!
A food truck and fire truck will be joining us too!

Ahead of our Community Wildfire Safety & Prevention event at Pinebrook Park Saturday May 7, 2022 from 10 am to 1 pm, we encourage all members of the Pinebrook community to participate in our Wildfire Safety & Prevention Scavenger Hunt. As a participant, you will have an opportunity to become better prepared for a wildfire event and will be eligible for one of approximately ten raffle prizes from our five event sponsors. All you need to do to participate is print this checklist, invest about ninety minutes of your time in safety related initiatives and return the completed checklist to the Pinebrook Fire Safety Committee before noon on Saturday May 7, 2022.
